Maroysa is built around a simple idea: the objects that make a home feel alive are rarely the big ones. They are the small, deliberate pieces — a chowki that holds a diya, a nested tray that gathers the morning's clutter, a mini stool that props up a plant and a little personality with it.
We work with traditional Indian decorative forms — the chowki, the nested tray, the low stool, the keepsake box — finished in motifs drawn from rangoli floors, mandala ceilings, paisley borders and temple lattice. Antique gold, deep crimson, patchwork colour. Shapes that have been part of Indian homes for generations, made for the way people live in them now.
What we look for
Every piece has to earn its place. We choose for silhouette first — the way an object holds a corner of a room — and then for the detail work that rewards a second look. Nothing enters the collection because it is merely useful. It has to have presence.
